Mike is a 22 year old senior at Saint Louis University from Menomonee Falls Wisconsin. He is majoring in psychology with a minor in biology. This pre-med student is currently applying to medical schools in the St Louis area, as well as other states, including Wisconsin.  Mikes goal is to be a doctor, simply stating he wishes to be what was commonly referred to as an 'Eye, ears, nose and throat' GP.

What attracted Mike to the Russell Arms is the character of the building, the character of the neighborhood as well as the closeness to school. "The variety of shops on South Grand is great" You may find Mike riding his bike to school on good days, leaving his car at home and enjoying the 5 minute ride to classes.

He has worked for Abbott Ambulance for the past two years as a Emergency Medical Technician in his 'free' time. Since he is carrying some heavy classes, plus working odd hours (often till 4 AM) he likes the quietness of the building. Mike states that since becoming a EMT he has learned to enjoy almost all different types of music. Favorite sports are basketball and cross-country running.

Since moving to St Louis Mike has experienced all the typical activities that we have all come to enjoy. Sledding on Art Hill, ice-cream at Ted Drews, walks through the zoo, the late night meals at Uncle Bills but says that he still needs to make it to the Art Museum.

He enjoys dogs, and is anxious to get one of his own someday. Favorite book is by Ann Faidman "When the spirit catches you, and you fall down'. Mike will be graduating in December of 2002 and altho he has enjoyed his time in St Louis, states that soon it will be time to move on.

So when you see this constant smiling, blue-eyed 6 foot 2 inch guy, be sure and say hello!
